I've been a few times and always enjoy the food and the help with the menu. Being a southern guy it took a little getting use to the menu, but im glad i did. Food has always been excellent and staff friendly and helpful. 
I know they sell a variety of Asian cuisine, but I just keep ordering pho! My favorite is actually the Vegetarian. I think the broth has more flavor than the chicken. The plate with the additions is very generous and for $7 you will definitely get your money's worth! The place is very popular at lunch.
The only thing I would think needs to be fixed is that during the lunch rush they really don't have enough waiters. I rarely had a refill on my drink and it took some time for me to get my check. It wasn't that the waiter was lazy, he just had too many tables to care for!
I have eaten at Pho4Star for several years at all the different locations. What always stays the same is Kim Dinh and her personal family recopies. I think the pho is about the best you can get outside of Vietnam and certainly the best in San Antonio. Service is sometimes a little slow, but that's because the food is always fresh, authentic and made to order. If you're into Vietnamese food, don't miss Pho4Star
